Pumpkin Investigation

We decided to test which type of spoon would be most effective to scoop out the pumpkin seeds. We discussed what material each spoon was made from. We made our predictions then tested the spoons to find out. Our results showed us that the metal spoon worked...

Reception class read the poem 'Dreamer' by Brian Moses. We talked about how we could help to look after our world. We found out we can 'reduce, reuse and recycle' at home and school.

Reception class read the book 'The Noisy Paintbox' which is about the artist Wassily Kandinsky. We listened to music and painted how it made us feel. We used loose parts to recreate our own version of 'Concentric Circles'
