Year 1 went to the Discovery Museum to learn about toys in the past. The children listened to a story then helped Bunting the cat search for his friends in the toy museum.
The children read clues that led them to discover different toys around the museum.They then had the opportunity to hold and explore some old Victorian toys!
The children ended their visit with designing and making their own Victorian toy called a ‘Thaumatrope’.
