Year 1 children visited Jesmond Dene as part of their History lesson.
They found out about Lord Armstrong and the important role he played in the development of the industrial revolution as well as landscaping.
We took a tour through Jesmond Dene to see the landscape of the dene and spot the ruins of once functional and grand buildings.
