Daily Class Prayers
Pupils at St Joseph’s School participate in whole school collective worship as well as daily class prayers.
Pupils act with reverence and respect and respond enthusiastically and respectfully.
Prayer Leaders are chosen on a weekly basis in each class. The Prayer Leaders all follow the same dialogue when gathering everyone to prayer.
Pupils are encouraged to say their own spontaneous prayers to share or reflect in their own thoughts.
For Muslim pupils who wish to take time to reflect or prayer during the day , there is a dedicated prayer area which they can use.
