Father David came to visit St Joseph’s School to tell us all about the wonderful work being carried out in Muhoroni ,Kenya.
We heard about his work building houses for people who needed help, opening a school for local children, a water project to provide clean and safe water as well as opening a health clinic.
It was amazing and humbling to listen to all the wonderful stories of individuals lerning about the community Father David and his team have helped while on his mission.
We felt inspired by his courage and determination to make a change to the people he met in Muhoroni.
St Joseph’s School wanted to contribute to the amazing work so we purchased some wonderful baskets, traditionally weaved and made by the women of Muhoroni.
Each class selected a basket which had information about the women who made them. These are kept on prayer tables and are used to hold prayers written by our children.
