Year 3 had a fantastic visit to Broxfield Farm. Farmer Thompson was very impressed with the children’s knowledge when answering questions. He was even more impressed when observing the children’s team work when maneuvering a wheelbarrow full of pumpklins! We made many links to geography and science and the children loved the outdoor classroom experience. We also had a lovely picnic lunch in Mr Thompson’s beautiful garden before enjoying a trailer ride to the forest. What a great day!
