Christingle is a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope.

Together, Year 1 children made a Christingle orange to celebrate this occasion.

The orange represents the world.

The red ribbon symbolises the love and blood of Christ.

The sweets and dried fruit represent God’s creation and the seasons.

The lit candle represents Jesus bringing in light to the world and hope to people living in darkness.

The children then shared their hopes, dreams and prayers for theirs and others future .
