Year 1 Ball Control

Year 1 have been learning ball control during their PE lesson.

Ball Skills includes throwing, catching, rolling, dribbling, kicking, and aiming for a target. While playing with a ball, children develop their bilateral integration, eye-hand coordination, eye-foot coordination, timing, sequencing, and motor planning skills.

Learning Outcomes

  • To move fluently, changing speed and direction.
  • To used different movements, speedways and pathways.
  • To recognise space in games.
  • To consolidate passing and receiving.
