The theme this year for British Science Week is ‘Time!’. To celebrate, Year 3 used the outdoor classroom and took part in time-themed, science activities.  The children made a nature calendar. They created their own pictorial representations of each of the four seasons using the natural resources they collected. The children completed a life cycle art activity. They used natural resources collected from the school grounds to create their own diagrams of the life cycle of a butterfly. The children are looking forward to their next activity where they will carry out an outdoor investigation. They will find out about the changes that happen when sea ice and land ice melt! Look out for our next post!
