May is traditionally dedicated to Mary, Mother of God. During this month we honour Mary and seek her prayers for the world. We remember Mary, the Mother of Jesus and Mother of us all.
Children at KS2 took part in a lunchtime Rosary Club ,carried out throughout May. During this time they dedicated their prayers and thoughts to Mary while listening to reflective music.
As the Month is dedicated to Mary, the children who attend the Rosary club are asked to think about Mary and say special prayers to her. They also learn about the Rosary and the different mysteries.
‘’For all those who have no peace, let us invoke Mary, the woman who brought into the world the Prince of Peace.’’
